About Consortia Restaurant

In the heart of Kensington, within walking distance of many of the capital’s most popular sights is Consortia, Holiday Inn Kensington Forum’s relaxed restaurant and lounge. An unpretentious and friendly place to enjoy post-shopping lunch, pre-night out meal or a quick drink before hitting the sack; Consortia is a light, spacious space offering a lounge area for drinkers and a slightly more formal restaurant area where a range of continental dishes are available throughout the day. Blonde wood furniture and floors give a contemporary feel to the room with light flooding in through huge windows while the atmosphere and food give a brasserie feel.

Consortia doesn't really stand out looks-wise as a restaurant ... almost an add on to the lobby but makes up for it with very friendly staff and a good choice of food. Chefs have even made up particular dishes for me when I've asked (e.g. tuna nicoise salad).

Consortia Restaurant, Holiday Inn Kensington Forum. The staff go out of their way to be helpful. Two remembered me from 2 weeks before. I requested a Tuna Nicoise salad which wasn't on the menu and the chef obliged even collecting the tuna from another restaurant. A nice in-house restaurant.

The Consortia restaurant is modern and serves good food with friendly staff.

Consortia is a good place to hang out for a quick snack before heading off into town. Has a bright Brasserie feel to it & does some nice bites. Central location makes it a good meeting point as well.

A hotel restaurant does not need a famous name attached, and Consortia proves this beyond a doubt. Pleasant staff & an interesting menu make this a place to visit more than just once.
