About Karaam Lebanese Restaurant

Karaam is a bright and modern Lebanese restaurant in London’s bustling Ealing Broadway. The intimate dining room, with burgundy walls and a tiled floor, has an elegant atmosphere and is filled with young couples and business types. ‘Karaam’ means ‘generosity’ in Lebanese, and the restaurateur Samir Hamze has built the restaurant’s philosophy around excellent service and top-quality food. The traditional menu includes favourites such as Kafta Khashkhash – minced lamb, parsley and garlic grilled on a skewer with spicy tomato sauce, and Mousaka Batinjan – baked aubergine with chick peas, spices, onions, tomatoes and rice. Karaam Lebanese Restaurant has a belly dancer every Saturday night and is perfect for a special night out.

The bread baskets being chargeable when there was a cover charge was a bit off putting - the food also got cold while waiting for additional bread to be served. Apart from that the experience was good. Thanks

I booked this for a medium group work dinner - very accommodating staff given the different arrival times of diners! Starters were the best thing here, would highly recommend their halloumi and their hoummous However, all of our main meals were rather dry, although the accompanying rice was tasty.

We originally came to Karaam because of Groupon deal but we liked it so much that we've been back a couple of times since. The location is good (just across from Ealing town hall). The decor is simple & tasteful and feels open (because of the glass front) and quite spacious. The service is genuine and friendly. Most importantly, the food is traditional, authentic and lovely. They even have a belly dancer on Saturday nights to add to the whole experience. We will go again.

Karaam Lebanese restaurant, Ealing Broadway

This was our second time at Karaam and we opted for the lunch special offer of chicken shwarma. The food was delicious, big portion and it was only £6.50.

The service was excellent and we also got some lovely baklava to finish off our meal. Thoroughly recommend it.

This was my first visit to Karaam and it was a very pleasant surprise. The service was excellent, very attentive and thoughtful. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. I'd recommend the seabass and their special hommous. The only downside was that the music was too loud so perhaps they can lower the volume a little...

Used to go here a lot but it seems the food & service has gone downhill in the last year. Starters were actually quite nice but main courses were not as great as experienced previously. Service was slow and got charged for items that we had ordered - but they had not brought to the table! When we ordered drinks they didnt have 2/3 things we asked for and 1 person in our group even suggested to go to the shop & buy it! I will need convincing that this was a one off experience!!

Karaam - Ealing, London Great food, good service. Value for money. Will visit again.

Excellent food and lots of it. Excellent service. First class all round.

We visited Karaam for the first time last night. We opted for a special deal they offer which was a very reasonable £45 for two people with Hummous, Tabouli + a choice of 2 hot starters, 2 main courses, dessert & tea/coffee + a bottle of wine. It was all excellent. We were also entertained by a very good belly dancer, something that they offer on a Saturday night. The restaurant is also well located & easy to find. We'll definitely visit again.

Karaam Lebanese was worth our return visit - good quality medi-tapas at very good prices. Warm beer, but hey - can't have everything!

2 of us dined at Karaam in Ealing at 6:30 on a Tues, were the only ppl in there (we left at 9, two other ppl ate whilst we were there) but can't fault it, nice music, attentive waiters. chose 4 starters to share rather than mains, delicious. kept refilling the complimentary bread, gave us free olives, and very kindly gave us complimentary ice cream and baklava. on a fri or sat I can imagine it is very busy. A good lebanese place, don't let the shabby area or outside fool you. a great evening

Great food but slow service.

Karaam Lebanese Restaurant (Ealing Broadway). Great food, and nice ambience. We were a group of 8 and instead of ordering main, we just ordered a whole selection of started so we could all share. It is good way to do it. Very reasonable price, but due to the number of starters we ordered the service was a little slow, but the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Will go back.

Karaam, London - we arrived on a Saturday night at 8.30, and was a little disappointed that it was only half full. Nonetheless, food was of a good standard and the staff were very friendly. We even received complimentary baklava. The price was also fair and we may consider returning.

Karaam in Ealing is quite an unassuming restaurant on the face of it i would not necessarily have gone in on just passing but im glad i booked and went. The humus was exceptional, and the rest of the meal was also very tasty. The restaurant started to fill up during our meal and by the end there was a great atmosphere. Although some of the service wasnt great, there was a huge amount of effort put in by the staff for you to enjoy your evening and the manager was exceptionally pleasant.

very nice staff delicious food, when we were there the riots started to attack and the owner helped us alot along with staff.

I will never forget how friendly they were that night.

Fantastic ambience Great food as well !!!

Karaam's food was nice enough, however the strong smell of the smoking pipes from the back were a bit off-putting.

waiters extremely friendly and the food was amazing - my friends loved it here....it was a friday night and i just wished they had had a belly dancer perform...

I visited Karaam when visiting a friend in Ealing. We chose a main dish each and a section of side orders, all of which were very tasty, especially an aubergine dip which went down very well with pittas. I'd also recommend the minty lemonade, made with real mint leaves. Good atmosphere. Would definitely visit again.
