About L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon

L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon restaurant in London’s West Street near Covent Garden is one hot dining experience. From the stable of Joel Robuchon, holder of 26 Michelin stars, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon brings stunning Spanish and Japanese-inflected French cooking to the capital. The ground floor L’Atelier, chic red and black minimalism, is where you perch on high stools and admire the chefs in the theatre kitchen cooking tiny, beautiful dishes of intense flavour, served sushi-style. The first floor La Cuisine offers equally marvellous cooking in a bright, monochrome space with traditional seating. Dishes include divine pig trotter on parmesan toast, mini burger with beef and foie gras, mackerel on thin tart with Parmesan shavings and olives, and magical puddings like chartreuse soufflé. The wines are of the highest order, as is the service. L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon is celeb central and foodie heaven all in one terrific West End location.

Food was nice and service was even better. They have some very nice fruit juice, especially the appleberry juice.

Had a pre theatre meal...Great, tasty food with the right wine recommendations. Staff were fantastic and helpful. Only (small) detail was the spoons were a little difficult to drink with... obviously not a real detriment to a great night.

Had long wanted to visit and was delighted to secure a reservation at relatively short notice. Our party of 4 all opted for 2 starters - much more interesting than the mains. Although portions were small, the 6 different varieties of bread, amuse-bouche, freebie desert and chocolate and marshmallow treats, ensured we were not left hungry. Presentation and taste of all dishes was exemplary. An exceedingly good dining experience. Only one quibble - more lighting in the ladies loo please!

Brilliant food, ambience and wine. Second time there for lunch and will try to go back again soon.

I could not fault anything. A great meal with excellent wine and service

L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon in Covent Garden: ate in l'atelier (the room with seats along the bar watching the chefs prepare the food). Wanted to experience a 2 michelin starred restaurant. We went with the 3 courses for £32. While the food and wine were very good (recommend lamb for main; all mains q rich), I did not feel it was better than non michelin starred, nice restaurants with lower prices and have definitely been to better so not necessarily a special experience but good food + ambiance

This was my second visit to L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon in London, and as always, the food and the service are of superbe quality. We went on a Sunday, using the £28 for two courses offer from Toptable. We had an asparagus cappuccino as starter, and cod in boulabaisse style for mains. Every dish, from pre-starter to after-lunch chocolates, was impeccable and delicate, Highly recommended.

Very friendly staff and excellent wine. The starters were brilliant and the dessert a bit lap lustre. Would go again.

The food is divine. It isn't cheap and the portions are small although you can fill up on wonderful fresh bread, but the quality and taste is stunning.

L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon was quite simply one of the best retsurants I have been to in London. A great place for a special celebration.

L'atelier de joel robuchon has got a great interior decor, green and relax and if stay at bar dinners can see how your dish is cooked. We went for a cocktail upstairs first and it was amazing, the food was nice but comes short for the expectation of a 2 Michelin stars restaurant

Olivier and his team never fail to impress. L'atelier is always a wonderful experience.

My girlfriend and I went for lunch and were treated to a mouth-watering 3-course meal. The lamb confit with white beans was impeccable.

Great pre-theatre menu! The lamb was absolutely delicious!

L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon Covent Garden. My wife and I had a 3 'small' course plus one 'main' on May 1st. Food was outstanding, try the 'Milk Fed Lamb Cutlets', heavenly!. Small glass of excellent wine with each course, chosen by the Sommelier who is a very, very knowledgeable young woman. L'Atelier is not just a great restaurant it's great theatre staffed by a team of excellent professionals. If you want a truly great experience on many levels we can't recommend it enough.

We had a great dinner at L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon, the set menu had excellent options and the staff where very friendly and helpful in accommodating our 6 month old baby when our baby sitter dropped out!

L'Atelier in Covent Garden was superb as always. We keep coming back because it's the most consistent Michelin restaurant in London.

L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon in Covent Garden is like eating the meal of your life in slick 80s nightclub. The shiny red and black decour is a little gawdy for my taste, and the strange fake ice bowl with apples perched on top is just strange - but the food and service was incredible. Top notch. If I can recover from the cost, I'll go again.

The dining experience surpassed all expectation and was absolutely exquisite! I could not recommend a signal improvement on our meal and we found ourselves on no fewer than 3 occasions saying ‘this is the best.... I have ever had’. An absolute coup in modern dining, If this is 2 start dining then I can’t even contemplate 3! We went for the small tasting dishes and shared, the ox cheek just blew us away and the beef and foie grass burger must be tried, not to mention the langoustine. We are alrea

L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon in London.Tuesday lunchtime after Easter and it was reasonably quiet.Very friendly staff and minimalist decor (black with a red highlight) and then they have Easter bunnies and plastic flowers under the counter.I thought they were trying to outkitsch Le Gavroche but the display probably changes. You watch the food preparation as they do upstairs. The food: Superb .Top notch foie gras, pork belly,Williams bavarois.Brilliant wine choices .More courses=better value.

Absolutely fantastic but expensive. Great date restaurant. Sit at the Counter if you can.
