I'm so glad we've discovered the Waterloo Bar & Grill! I've certainly walked past a few times on my way to the Old Vic and never been in so think it's a good place for a pre-theatre meal. We had the haloumi burger and whitebait which was very tasty and the service was very efficient and friendly.

The bar area is quite buzzy with the after-work crowd and gives the restaurant out back a certain liveliness too, although it's private enough for a good catch up over a meal with a friend.

Nice place but service was far too rushed.

Average. Food portions were a bit small and tasted a bit bland. Not bad value with the toptable deal, but wouldn't go back.

Good value for money with the 3 courses and 1/2 carafe of wine for £20 but I don't think I will be going again if the deal isn't on.

The ambience was nice but the food was mediocre and our waiter just didn't seem to know what he was doing or care about us having a good evening.

Wwaterloo Bar & Grill was a good, lively restaurant to go to in a handy location near the station. We opted for the TT deal of 3 courses and a glass of wine for £20 which was a bargain. The food was good quality and service pleasant, I would come here again.

Lovely evening at waterloo bar and grill and we were treated like any other customer despite using the offer which is always a good sign.

Waterloo Bar and Grill - London SE1

This restaurant is a favourite anyway, but I was delighted at the Special Offer. Such amazing value and the food and service was excellent as always.

we really enjoyed our whole experience at the Waterloo Bar and Grill. Good food, nice ambience and a lovely evening - thanks

A slightly above average evening. Subtle improvements compared with previous visit. In my top 7 venues for the area, but not in top 3.

Arrived at Waterloo Bar and Grill early with an additional person for happy hour cocktails and was seated straight away with no issues. Staff very attentative and food was once again lovely. Will definately be returning

Good friendly service- food was tasty

We booked a deal for Waterloo Bar and Grill but in the end didn't use it. I would say it is definitely too expensive if you don't get a deal! I had a burger and ended up paying 40£ per person! We did have 2 bottles of wine and it was 3 of us, but still! Ambience was nice but I wouldn't go back without a deal!

Waterloo Bar and Grill has been opened for quite a while and this is my first visit although local to work wish I had come sooner simple tasty food excellent service and the three courses with half a carafe of wine excellent value for money, great for a nice business lunch

A good place for a quick bite after work.

Great food and perfect for a pre theatre dinner

Great meal at Waterloo Bar and Grill. Superb location (right next to Waterloo station), nice decor and attentive staff. The 3 course meal was very good value. I had fish cakes, salmon and lemon posset for dessert. Salmon was very moist and tasty. Dessert was the weakest link in the meal, but I'd still return for a bargain meal in nice surroundings.

The meal was nice. The restaurant has a calm atmosphere and the service was attentive. However, the food but on the a la carte would expensive for what it is, if you don't make use of the 3 courses for £20 offer. Also, using the offer does not include any sides and some of the main course selections (e.g. pork fillet) come with no accompaniment.

Good value food, nicely presented

The Waterloo Bar and Grill is more of a bar that has somewhere to eat attached to it rather than somewhere you would choose to dine at. The food was ok and the service was very efficient and friendly but I cant see me rushing back.

Good value.
